solving the problems of organisational efficiency of social impact organisations.
By leveraging the skills and expertise of the for-profit sector in the not-for-profit world through structured, committed and collaborative efforts. Our technology-enabled virtual volunteering project platform has allowed us to support non-profit organisations across India where the reach has been restricted due to geographical limitations of access.
Over the last decade toolbox INDIA has provided organisation development and capacity building support to over 300 non-profit organisations all over the country. Building a rich pool of 600+ volunteers local and international, we have designed more than 400 sustainable and easy-to-adopt solutions across multiple functions in Human Resource Management, Finance, Monitoring & Evaluation and Communications, in the last five years largely through the dedicated efforts of our volunteers.
toolbox INDIA’s partnership with Children of the World (India) Trust Bombay over the last two years allowed for delving and revisiting the organisation mission, structure and program. The organisation has had a rich history of fabulous work to provide quality foster care, education, health and nutrition to underprivileged children and to empower them to reach their full potential. toolbox INDIA collaborated with CWT in order to address the gap in the alignment of the organisation’s vision-mission statements and the absence of a predefined strategy at the program level. Through secondary research on market trends in employment opportunities and identification of potential competitors, the volunteers at toolbox India were able to document best practices in non-traditional livelihoods. This has paved the way for COWT to identify and design a roadmap for the re-imagined set of strategic goals that the organisation has defined for itself.
‘A picture is worth a thousand words, and a name - 17000’ 17000ft Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation working towards improving the lives of people from the mountainous villages of Ladakh. With their primary focus being quality education to the rural children of Ladakh, and social and economic empowerment of rural communities. With the COVID-19 crisis, 17000 ft’s core programs in education, infrastructure and capacity building of rural communities called for a reprioritization, particularly owing to the economic losses incurred due to a drop in tourism and subsequent reduced government funding. toolbox INDIA’s call to action therefore was to support the organisation in redefining their theory of change in altered times in order to continue maximum community support and effective interventions. toolbox INDIA thus, through in-depth interactions with the founder and top management of the organisation, conducted an extensive analysis of the organisation’s strategic plans to define action items that map community-level impact.
